Welcome to
Pike Plastics Recycling, LLC
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Pike Plastics Recycling, LLC (PPR). PPR has acquired the assets of a competitor and we are combining them with our existing assets from our previous plant. In addition, PPR has ordered a considerable amount of new recycling equipment utilizing leading edge global technology. We are bringing in equipment from Europe and the US into our new home in Waverly, OH, a million square foot facility.
PPR is FOCUSING on the Long-Term success of PIR REcycling
- Our inbound testing and specifications for inbound loads are critical to the success of manufacturing consistent grades that meet or exceed our posted specifications. We guarantee our material will work as advertised as long as it is sampled prior to shipment.
- At Pike Plastics, we recognize that the typical PIR recycler is often more concerned with cost than physical properties. Unfortunately, this approach has led to a perception that black Repro PP is low-end and inferior to generic or prime materials. We are determined to change this perception by supplying what the processor needs and requests.
- PPR plans to provide more compounded products, including talc—and calcium-filled PP, sustainable fillers for PP, nano graphite, and PP compounds enhanced with specific properties such as stiffness and warpage reduction, as well as pre-colored options in PIR.
- PPR also has plans to provide a 30% PCR-based natural PP with an LNO for use in those applications requiring a minimum level of recycled content defined by individual states. This will also allow us to adjust melt, izod, UV, A/O packages, antistats, and clarifiers
